Welcome to Senteclick! By accessing or using our apps, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Definitions

1. “Customer” – a user who buys products through Senteclick.
2. “Vendor” – a seller who lists products for sale on Senteclick.
3. “Delivery Man” – a person registered to deliver orders.
4. “Platform” – the Senteclick customer app, vendor app, delivery man app, and website collectively.
5. “Order” – a purchase request made by a customer.

2. Account Registration

1. You must be at least 18 years old to register as a vendor or delivery man. Customers under 18 may use the platform with parental consent.
2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

3. Customer Obligations

1. You agree to pay the full price of products and any applicable delivery fees.
2. You will not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
3. You will not interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the platform.

4. Vendor Obligations

1. Vendors must have the legal right to sell the products they list.
2. Vendors are responsible for product quality, accuracy of descriptions, and compliance with all applicable laws (e.g., consumer protection, product safety).
3. Vendors must fulfil orders promptly and honour their stated return/refund policies.
4. Senteclick reserves the right to remove any product or suspend any vendor that violates these terms.

5. Delivery Man Obligations

1. Delivery men must have a valid government‑issued ID, a smartphone with GPS, and a reliable vehicle (if required).
2. They agree to complete deliveries in a timely, professional manner and to keep customer information confidential.
3. Delivery men are independent contractors, not employees of Senteclick. They are responsible for their own taxes and insurance.

6. Orders and Payments

1. When a customer places an order, Senteclick processes the payment and notifies the vendor.
2. The vendor must confirm or reject the order within [24 hours]. If rejected, the customer is refunded.
3. Once the vendor confirms, the order is assigned to a delivery man (or vendor may handle delivery themselves).
4. Payments are released to vendors after successful delivery, minus any applicable commissions and fees (see “Fees” section).

7. Fees and Commissions

1. Vendors pay a commission on each sale as specified in the vendor dashboard (e.g., 5‑15%).
2. Delivery men earn a delivery fee per order, as shown when they accept a delivery.
3. Senteclick may change fees with 30 days’ notice.

8. Prohibited Conduct

1. No counterfeit, illegal, or unsafe products.
2. No harassment, spam, or abusive behaviour.
3. No manipulation of reviews or ratings.
4. No unauthorised use of other users’ personal data.

9. Intellectual Property

1. Senteclick owns the platform’s design, logos, and software.
2. Vendors retain ownership of their product images and descriptions but grant Senteclick a licence to display them.
3. Customers may not copy or scrape product data.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

1. Senteclick is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
2. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if you are a customer) or the fees earned (if you are a vendor/delivery man) in the prior 12 months.
3. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Kampala.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
